Alone!

So, here I am in the new semester of school, practically killing myself with classes, homework, money issues, work, and my musical. It's horrible cause I have no time to do anything anymore. I have to schedule my free time way ahead of schedule and even then its not for very long. For some reason, I feel like I am on an iceberg, slowly floating away from reality.

There are hardly any times when I'm with someone other than myself. Even during New Years Eve, I was alone....Now that was sad. I crocheted a scarf, made a puzzle, cooked an elaborate dinner, and watched two movies. At the end of this little celebration, I opened a bottle of sparkling cider and didn't even bother getting a glass. See what I mean? I need a life!

However, I am enjoying my classes. Today we watched Night of the Hunter.
this is one of the most intense movies I have seen. Whenever a preacher is actually a serial killer, it's bound to be creepy. Watch it!

Christmas & More!

So, first of all, Merry Christmas! I moved back home until school starts up again, and although I love my family, they can be very boring. It takes hours of convincing just for a simple game of connect four. But, Christmas time was great because we had family party after family party.
First, it was Ladd's polynesian party. Now, if you have never been to a polynesian party, crash one as soon as possible! It's a must in life, cause you have never been to a party until you've been to a poly party.
Next, was my Borup family party. That was fun cause we had our annual Borup ball fight. So, my senior year of high school, my boyfriend at the time, stuffed my locker full of all these plastic balls in order to ask me to prom. We then gave those balls away in the secret santa my family did. My grandma ended up with the balls, and then decided to pass them out; one to everyone. Eventually, one ball was thrown at someone and it didn't take long for everyone to start in on the fight. This year, my grandma gave away the balls as her secret santa gift, and that person soon started throwing the balls at everyone and once again, we were in a ball fight in my family's family room.
On Christmas day, I wasn't expecting any gifts except my stalking and my tickets to the Hale (which I always get). However, I received unexpected gifts from McKenzie, Whitney, and Scott. So, I was pretty happy. But then, we found a box full of small presents, one for everyone (even Ladd and Scott). We all opened them at the same time, and soon all of us were screaming with excitement (although, it did take me a bit longer since I opened it upside down). Inside the wrapping paper, we found itouches. One for all of us! My mom said that Santa went crazy this year and that she was going to return all of them. Don't worry, she didn't.
Since I'm already writing too much I'm just gonna tell you that after Christmas I also went to the Swain family christmas party and my grandma Borup's birthday party. All were fun, and all have great stories, but I don't feel like writing about it. Sorry.

CASTING

So, this weekend was CRAZY! I had my auditions for the musical short film I am working on with my friend David Jon Banks, called Cimmeria Grove. We had so much fun with it, and found some really great options for our characters. Now, we need to work on the script some more (friends and family are helping out with that), and then check out the footage from the auditions and cast our project. This is so exciting for me! Even though a lot of people aren't taking us seriously, we are taking ourselves seriously. This project is going to turn out to be amazing, and a lot of people will be surprised. It's easy to underestimate us. I get it. We are young in the film program, and this is our first big project. However, I feel that our skills are up to it. It's already turning out great, and we aren't even close to being done with the script even. I can't wait to start working on rehearsals. That, I think, will be the best part about this whole thing. Well, that's about all I have to report. See ya
and PS- don't mix carrots and M&M's in the same bowl. It doesn't end pretty!

Favorite Female Celebs!

Okay, I promised to give you my favorite female celebrities, so here it is.

#5 Emmy Rossum

I first saw her in the Disney original movie, Genius, and then after seeing her in Phantom and Day After Tomorrow, I saw how beautiful she has become.

#4 Scarlett Johansson

I don't even know what movie I first saw with Scarlett, but I do remember her when she was younger in Home Alone V. I think it was. Then in The Prestige I realized how awesome she was. Of course, after that there was Ghost World, and that's when I started really liking her. However, since I've seen that movie, she just becomes less and less cool to me. I don't know why, but its true. I can't disagree that she's attractive, though.

#3 Gwen Steffani

I love Gwen! Even though her music will never be the same as it was with No Doubt. She is still gorgeous, and I am so jealous of her style.

#2 Ginnifer Goodwin

Okay, Ginnifer is BEAUTIFUL!!! I love her in every movie she's in. She plays the "everyday girl" so well, and yet she is still incredibly good looking. I first saw her in Mona Lisa Smiles...I think. I also love her in Win a Date with Tad Hamilton and He's Just Not That Into You. I wish I could look as good as her.

#1 Natalie Portman
Natalie is my fav. and has been since...Closer....no...since Star Wars...no, Star Wars is when I first noticed how beautiful she is, then I bought closer just because she and Jude Law and Julia Roberts are in it. That first scene with her walking down the London street and The Blower's Daughter playing in the background....ah! I fell in love just like Jude Law's character did! Then, after V for Vendetta, it just sealed the deal! She can pull of any look, any time, any where. She is definitely my line!

Math is of the DEVIL

I hate math. Once upon a time I was actually good at it. I would get A's on all of my test. NOT ANY MORE!! Now, even when I study for hours at a time, I still fail! AH!

Okay, well other than that life is going good. We are preparing for the musical auditions. I am really excited about that, but it's coming up so fast! My schedule is just getting crazier and crazier. Even Thanksgiving will be crazy. I wish life could just slow down; even for a moment.
I can't wait for next semester. 12-13 credits, work, and rehearsals are all I'm going to worry about. Sometimes I wish I had a boy toy, but then I remember that I don't have time for one, and having one will only make my life more hectic. oh well! Someday.

Anyways, just a small blog to post while sittin' in the library. See you all next blog.

My Top Ten Hottest Celebs!

Okay, so my dearest friend, Ahlin, told me about this 10 favorite hot male celebs, and I totally agreed that I should do one too. Next time I'll be mixing it up by having a top 5 girls, too. So, this is my top 10 boys. Enjoy!

#10 - Brad Pitt

Not only a phenomenal actor, but one of the greatest jaws of all time!

Love him the best in The Mexican.

#9 Ewan McGregor

Ewan has been in my top ten since 8th grade. He is slowly losing his top place, but for now he is still pretty high up there. He used to be number one because of my favorite movie...Moulin Rouge

#8 - Gerard Way

Surprised? I find myself attracted to the emo look sometimes, but he is my number one. What's better than a My Chemical Romance Jacket, right?

#7 - Andy Samberg

Yes he is a dork, but have you ever checked him out? He is quite the looker.

GO HOT ROD!!!

#6 - Casey Affleck

He is one that always makes me happy whenever I watch one of his movies.

My fav. is Oceans 11

# 5 - Mario Barrett

Soooooooo Attractive!!! Love him in Step Up!!!

#4 - Jake Gyllenhaal

First movie I saw him in was Bubble Boy. Not a good first impression. After Donnie Darko and Day After Tomorrow, I slowly started to realize what an amazing looking boy he is. I personally love his eyes!

#3 - Heath Ledger

Even though he is no longer with us, he still makes my list. Short, long, dark, light, facial, smooth: no matter what the style, he pulled it off like a pro. He has been my fav since 10 Things I Hate About You. Love him to death. Plus, he is another really good example of an amazing jaw.

#2 - Jude Law

Gorgeous! I even love him in AI. My love affair with Jude started after watching Gattaca. The rest is history.

#1 - James Mcavoy

I thanks Ahlin for bringing him into my life. I only first noticed him in Narnia, but didn't think he was that well-known of an actor. However, once Ahlin pointed out to me that he was that same actor as Beginning Jane and Penelope, I was instantly hooked. My favorite, even though Atonement is incredible, is Penelope. That kiss seals the deal.

That is all to my Top 10 male Celebs. Next time will be the top five girls.
